The Dutch journal Financieele Dagblad (“FD“) reports that the Dutch government will no longer use TikTok for advertisements and campaigns. The reason is that the government has concerns about TikTok’s compliance with privacy rules.
The decision to stop using TikTok became apparent when the Ministry of Finance recently issued a new campaign to alert young people to the risks of crypto currencies. The campaign can be seen on Snapchat, YouTube and Twitch, but not on TikTok, FD reported.
