TBYP has appealed the 10 January 2024 judgment

On 10 January 2024, the Amsterdam District Court has issued its judgment and designated TBYP as the exclusive representative for the Dutch children. In this judgment, the court also addressed the legal options for claiming damages. TBYPbelieves it is important that TikTok fully compensates the Dutch children for the serious violations of privacy and consumer rights. In addition, it is important to clarify the possibilities of claiming damages in future mass damages cases. Therefore, TBYP filed an appeal on 9 April 2024 to secure all possibilities to do so.
